Biscuit Cake - Chocolate Cake

Cake is a all time favorite for all age group. Here we are going to make cake using any biscuit of your taste.  I am using Bourbon biscuit which give a chocolate cake.

Ingredients:
Bourbon Biscuit – 120gram
Milk – 120ml
Baking Soda – 1 pinch

How to prepare Biscuit cake:
  • Powder the entire pack of biscuit. Mix the milk with the powdered biscuit along with baking soda. Now the cake batter is ready.
  • Spread a heavy bottomed kadai with a ½ inch layer of salt. Place a stand on top of the salt.
  • Grease the cake mould and add the batter into the mould. I used 6 inch cake mould. Place the mould into the kadai and cover the kadai.
  • Cook the cake in high flame for first 5 minutes and then cook in low flame for 20-25 minutes. The cake batter will change the color once cooked. To confirm if the cake cooked completely insert skewer or tooth pick or knife into the cake, it should be clean while taking out.
  • Allow the cake to cool, then transfer it to the plate by removing the edges using knife. Cake is ready to serve.

Tips:
  • Any cream biscuit can be used so that the cake will be in the flavor of cream. You can also use chocolate biscuits like Oreo Biscuit, Hide and seek.
  • If using normal biscuits like Marie biscuit or Goodday, use choco powder and powdered sugar to bring the flavor if required.
