Bajra is known as Pearl Millet in English, Kambu in
Tamil. This recipe we use Bajra flour and wheat flour which is good for health.
Usually kids love cakes, so here is the trick to make them eat good things
unknowingly.

Dry Ingredients:
Bajra Flour(kambu maavu)- 2 tbsp
Wheat Flour- 2 tbsp
Jaggery Powder- 2 tbsp
Baking Soda- 2 pinch
Baking Powder- 2 pinch
Wet Ingredients:
Milk- 4 tbsp
Curd- 1 tbsp
Ghee- ½ tbsp

How to prepare Bajra Cake:
- In a mixing bowl add all the dry ingredients and mix together.
- Now add all the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and combine well, batter is ready.
- Transfer the batter to the greased mould (I used 2 small plate with 4inch diameter and 1inch height).
- In a kadai place a stand and place the mould containing batter in it, close the kadai with lid. Cook in high flame for 5 mins and low flame for 5-7mins or till cake cooked completely. Check by inserting knife or toothpick which should come out clean. Allow the cake to cool then demould and serve.
