Ingredients:
Bread slices- 4
Chocolate spread or Nutella or peanut butter or
fruit jam
Banana*- 1 small (slit into 4 vertical pieces)
*You can slice to thin round piece, also can use
strawberry or apple or pear
For coating:
Egg- 1
Milk- ¼ cup
Cinnamon powder or cardamom powder- a pinch
Sugar or jaggery powder- 1tsp
For toppings: (optional)
Sugar- 1tsp (powdered)
Cinnamon powder- a pinch
How to prepare French Toast roll ups:
- In a mixing bowl add egg, milk, sugar and cardamom powder mix well without lumps.
- Take a slice of bread, remove the edges and press the slice flat using a rolling pin. Apply chocolate spread over the bread, keep the banana piece and roll the bread, seal the edges.
- In a wide plate mix powdered sugar and cinnamon powder, mix and keep aside.
- Heat a tawa apply ghee on it, dip the bread roll in the egg mixture and place on the tawa, turn and cook all the sides.
- Transfer to a plate, coat the roll on sugar cinnamon mixture and serve.
