Keerai Kadaiyal is one of the simple and easiest recipes,
which taste good even for one who hates green. This recipe was introduced by
one of my relative when I was a kid; I loved it so it got continued as my favourite
dish.

Ingredients:
Spinach/Keerai- 1 cup (100gram) chopped and tightly
packed
Thoor dal- 3 tbsp
Pearl onion/Shallot- 10 nos
Tomato- 1 chopped
Green Chilli- 3 nos
Garlic Cloves- 3 nos
Asafoetida/Hing- ¼ tsp
Water- ½ cup
Salt- As required
To temper:
Oil- 1 tbsp
Mustard- ¼ tsp
Cumin/Jeera- ¼ tsp
Curry leaves- 1 sprig

How to prepare Palak Kadaiyal:
- Add all the ingredients in pressure cooker and whistle till the dal got cooked smashy.
- Once the pressuregot released open the lid and mash it using smasher or keerai mathu.
- Temper the mustard, jeera and curry leaves in oil and add them to masiyal.
- Serve this with white rice and ghee.
