Pepper Chicken-Lockdown/Bachelor recipe


This pepper chicken recipe is made with limited number of ingredients that's available at home without compromising the taste, instead of running behind vegetables during lockdown. This recipe will be helpful for beginners, bachelors who want to prepare chicken even when no vegetables available

Ingredients:
Chicken- 500gram
Ginger garlic paste- ½ tsp
Chilli powder- ½ tsp
Pepper powder- 1tsp
Coriander powder- 1tsp
Cumin powder- 1tsp
Garam masala- 1tsp
Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
Lemon juice- 1tbsp
Salt- as required
Oil - 1 tbsp
Water - ½ cup

How to prepare pepper chicken:
  • In a pan add oil then add all the required masala ingredients along with cleaned chicken. Finally add water close with lid and cook the chicken till it turns soft.
  • Consistency of gravy depends on you, you can remove it as semi gravy, else if required as dry chicken cook till water evaporates and becomes dry. Serve it hot.
  • Tips:
  • Add less water if you requires dry chicken recipe.
  • You can saute onion and tomato before adding chicken if required, also you can finally add chopped coriander leaves if available. Without any vegetables and greens also the taste will be too good.
