Muhallebi is an Arabic dessert recipe, famous during
Iftar which is healthy too. The preparation is very simple, here I am adding
fresh cream to enhance the taste, which can be skipped. This can be given to toddlers as well, if you dont want to use, you can skip rose essence and rose syrup for kids.

Ingredients:
Milk - 250ml
Fresh cream- 75ml(optional)
Sugar- 3tsp
Corn flour/Rice flour- 3tsp
Rose essence- 2drops(or) rose water-1tsp
Rose syrup- 2tbsp
Chopped nuts- 1tbsp

How to prepare Muhallebi/Malabi:
- In a heavy bottom pan add milk and bring to boil, now add sugar and stir till dissolve.
- Then add the fresh cream and boil in low flame. In a small bowl add the corn flour/rice flour along with rose water or essence and mix it with 3tbsp of milk, add this mixture to boiling milk cream, stir continuously till it thickens.
- Now transfer this to a serving glass and refrigerate it for minimum 4 hours or overnight.
- Once muhallebi is set add some rose syrup on top and garnish with nuts, Malabi is ready to serve chilli or bring to room temperature and serve.
