Homemade medicine to Increase Breast Milk

Breast milk is the healthiest food ever which you can feed your new born. It is recommended to feed breast milk for first 6 months and after 6 months need to add complimentary food along with breast feed. To increase the supply of breast milk there are certain food like mutton, fish, vegetable from gourd family, spices like fennel seeds, poppy seeds, fenugreek seeds, cumin seeds, tapioca etc. I will share the recipes which I used to increase my lactation. Apart from these foods I used a homemade powder which is recommended by my periyamma which used by our elders. It actually works for me, festival days or travel may affect our healthy food, even when we need to feed baby without any lack in milk supply.
It is always recommended for nursing mothers to drink plenty of water, for good supply of milk also for us to not get tired due to dehydration as breast milk contains lot of water. This can be consumed daily and consuming this powder as requires to intake plenty of water. This can be used as long as you feel like you need to nurse your baby.
