Raisins water for babies/Adults- Home remedy for constipation

Constipation is common for babies especially when we start complimentary foods. I start to use this for my baby after 6 months by the time when we start food. Raisins also rich in minerals like potassium, phosphorus, iron, calcium and magnesium, contain antimicrobial properties. This helps in mental and physical development. This can be provided as first food in the morning regularly.
This is not only for babies; even for adults also raisin water is good for regular bowel movement. Having raisins regularly will prevent from constipation.

Ingredients:
Raisins/Dry grapes
Water

How to prepare Raisin Water:
  • Rinse and soak dry grapes with water overnight.

  • Squeeze it with fingers and filter it in tea strainer, serve immediately.

Tips:
  •  Start with 1 teaspoon raisins soaked in 2 teaspoon water per day and increase gradually.
  • After 1 year if the baby able to chew you can give the raisins as well to too
  • For Adults use a handful of raisins with a cup of water. Early morning drink warm raisin water in empty stomach along with raisins.
