Pesarattu dosa is an Andhra style recipe also called
as pesara attu, pesara dosa. This is a protein rich recipe used as a breakfast.

Ingredients:
Green Gram- 1 cup
Rice- 1 cup
Green Chilli- 3
Ginger- A small piece
Hing/Asafoetida- ¼ tsp
Pepper- ¼ tsp
Jeera/Cumin seeds- ¼ tsp
Sombu/Fennel seeds- ¼ tsp
Water- As required
Salt- As required
Oil- For making dosa

How to prepare Pesarattu:
- Wash and soak the rice and green gram for minimum of 4 hours to maximum 7 hours.
- In a mixer jar add the soaked green gram and rice along with green chilli, ginger, asafoetida, pepper, jeera, sombu and salt.
- Add required amount of water and grind it as a smooth batter.
- Check the consistency of batter similar to dosa batter, add more water if required.

- Make dosa in dosa tawa, drop some oil cook on both side. Serve this with spicy chutney.
Tips:
- Prepare the batter when you are ready to prepare dosa. This will give thin and crispy dosa. Batter used after keeping in fridge will lead to thick dosa.
- Above mentioned quantity will give you 9-10 dosa.
