Kuzhambu Kalaki/Muttai(Egg) Kalaki- Street food


Egg Kalaki is one of the popular street food recipes, easy to prepare. Only two ingredients are required to prepare this recipe. It gives a soft texture inside and cooked outer part. Any spicy veg or non veg gravy can be used for this. Recipe taste good when used non-veg gravy. Here I used Pepper Chicken Gravy (Will share this recipe soon)

Ingredients:
Egg- 1 nos
Pepper powder- 2pinch
Salt-a pinch
Gravy- 2 tbsp
Oil- 1 tsp

How to prepare Egg Kuzhambu Kalaki:

  • Mix the gravy and egg along with pepper powder and salt in a bowl. Heat the pan and add oil.
  • Now pour the mixed egg into the pan in low flame. Fold all the sides to centre with a spoon. Keep doing the till you get the egg like a pouch with outer part cooked.

  • Tips:
  • Instead of gravy you can add pepper, salt, onion and coriander leaf with egg and prepare Kalaki.
  • Be quick while folding the egg.
